In the world of typography, designers are constantly pushing boundaries, exploring new possibilities, and challenging traditional norms. One such exploration led to the creation of "One Circle," a unique typeface that emerged from an experimental approach to design.
The Concept: Exploring the Power of a Single Circle
The concept behind "One Circle" was simple yet intriguing—to construct an entire typeface using just one size of a circle. The idea was to leverage the shape of a circle as the foundational building block for every letter, pushing the boundaries of what a typeface could be.
To bring this concept to life, I was overlapping circles and strategically cutting out shapes with the shapebuilder tool.
The result is pretty interesting. I got a typeface that can be used as a display font or for large headings on posters. You can create pretty exciting visuals with it.
